Our Mission

The Tanzanian Children’s Fund provides support for the Rift Valley Children’s Village, an orphanage in the Mto wa mbu,Arusha region of Tanzania, and other related community-based programs that improve the lives of marginalized children in Tanzania.

Current Fundraising Project

Have you ever dreamed of climbing Africa’s tallest mountain? Are you interested in seeing Africa's most iconic animals in their native habitats? Do you believe that every child should have access to medical and dental care?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we invite you to participate in Zama Africa Children’s Village first ever “Summit for Health” fundraiser to help RVCV build a much needed health center.

Not only will you have the opportunity to climb one of the world’s Seven Summits (at 19,340 ft), but you will also contribute to the building of a health center that will help provide important medical and dental services for the children and staff of Rift Zama Africa Children’s Village.

Location

Zama Africa Children Care Centre is situated at Mto wa Mbu, near the road on the way to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti national Park.

About Zama Africa

Zama Africa was founded as a non-profit organization in 2010 by Ally N.Nzomkunda , after spent time in the preceding years working with many people with disabilities in the Karatu area of Tanzania. Our organization benefits from the combination of Ally's skills and knowledge as a pediatric rehabilitation nurse, and also cultural knowledge and leadership skills. I am also blessed to have Esther Ebae Muthoni, our Operations Manager living in Karatu to keep our projects moving forward. Zama Africa's other board members also have experience with those with special needs.
